Hi lovely ladies! When can they tell the sex of the baby? I really can't wait to find out mine! Heard different dates but not sure which was right!

Normally at the 20 wk scan. I could have been told at the 15 wk one as i had extra but opted never to find out :) they never offer you a 100% sexing to ensure not liable if they get it wrong

I've got my scan in next two weeks so will be 14 weeks. I really want to find out!! I would love a boy but would be delighted with a girl :) as long as they are happy and healthy I don't care!

The normal NHS scan is 20w if the baby is positioned so they can tell, if it isn't then they wont ask you back for a retest it is just tough and have to book it private. Find a local private scan place and ring and ask them what date you can see the sexs from. How many weeks are you? I think it is 16+ they can tell but not 100% sure.

I'm at 13 weeks and they are booking scan in next two weeks. We are so excited to find out!!xx

private from 16 weeks and that's early ! and less accurate then if u wait a while , u wont b able to c b4 then so if I was you I would rebook my appointment for a later date ! if u call and ask them they will advise u and move appointment accordingly .

at routine nhs scans, if they can c and you want to know they will tell u at 20wks , I wanted to know and they couldn't c ( she didn't try very hard though) so went for a private scan the following day , baby was in exactly same position and with a bit of wiggling and prodding baby moved enough for us to c its a girl , had a 4d 1 on sat and its still a girl !

was told at nhs 20wk scan with my 1st it was a boy and he was !

there slightly more accurate if ur told its a boy than a girl , its easier 2 miss something then to c something that isn't there ! know a few people who were told girl but come out a boy ! never heard of being told a boy but came out a girl !

to be honest think 15 weeks is bit early to find out sex
