No, I'm afraid you can't, I had a cold recently and checked. No painkillers. Lots of caffeine in them too. You can, I believe, take decongestant though, but I just did honey and lemon. Get well soon! X

You can safely take paracetamol. I believe it is the lemsips that's contain decongestant that aren't safe to take... If you read the back of the pack it will say but some makes are safe and others aren't. Always best to read the pack!:)

One thing that does suck about being pregnant.. When your ill you just have to put up with it... All you can do really is live on paracetamol and try lemon n honey or something... And you can have soothers.. I was really ill for 2weeks then it finally went for a week then came back, it's finally going again now and thank god as I'm 40weeks today!

I took the panadol honey and lemon sachets on-the leaflet it doesn't say anywhere not to take if your pregnant, just go easy on them 3 a day not every 3 hrs. :-) lady or gent at the pharmacy knows best so don't be afraid to ask get well soon Hun xx

The caffeine and adrenaline metabolises probably aren't great (not that Lemsip really does much anyway ;-) )

Hot honey and lozenges for the throat, steam your face for the blocked nose, paracetamol for aches/pains/fevers and lots of water!
