Extreme fatigue after 1st dose AstraZeneca vaccine?

Hi

I received my vaccine on 20th February 2021. I have Polymyositis Jo-1.

I would like to know if anyone has had severe fatigue after their 1st dose of the

AstraZeneca vaccine.

The fatigue I have has contiued to get worse as the weeks have gone on.

Any replies would be helpful.

Hi

I also have polymyositis jo 1. I had my first vaccine on 10th feb.

I was totally wiped out the first night, had headache and felt a little tired for a week, i had a raised lump where I had the injection and was hot to the touch for just over two weeks.

I took paracetamol as soon as I got home as so many people had told me about the headaches.

People without underlying health issues are having such different side effects.

Is your condition under control or active at the moment.

I had my first dose on 21 of January the only side effects is only fever after 48 hours but my only worry is whether we are protected with the vaccine?

Yes had mine 4 weeks ago and yes I also have extreme fatigue I had ME many years ago and my symptoms mirror what I’m going through now it’s fatigue so bad I could drop off to sleep in a second hope it goes as it’s better than getting corona hang in there and let’s hope it will pass kind wishes to you .

Hello Fleetwood, I have Jo-1 and have had two shots of Pfizer with no reaction at all. I'm thinking of having a antibody test done in May. I take mycophenolate 150mg daily
