PLEASE NOTE: This event will start at 6PM UK time, not 5PM as previously advertised.

Myositis UK members are invited to attend a virtual thesis seminar on 16 September with young researcher Kyla Britson.

Based in the US, Kyla was one of the three young researchers awarded a speed funding grant by Myositis UK at the 3rd Global Conference on Myositis held in Berlin last year.

Her winning research proposal was: The Pathogenis and Treatment of Inclusion Body Myositis in a Xenograft Model.

Kyla also won an award for her presentation at the conference.

While the project has been somewhat delayed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Kyla is keen to keep Myositis UK members updated on her research.
