After suffering excruciating pain in my left thigh I was diagnosed with sciatica. After 3 weeks of getting no where I went to see a private doctor. After lots of blood tests, an MRI my specialist requested I have a muscle biopsy. This confirmed I had Myositis in my left thigh. Upon further investigation I was also diagnosed with Sarcoidosis of the lungs and lymph nodes and granulomatous infiltration of both eyes. The specialist I was under referred me to another specialist who is a rheumatologist.
I am on various medication and at one point I was stable, but unfortunately that was short lived and I now feel I’ve gone back to the almost the beginning and am feeling lots of pain in my thigh, my breathing is very laboured and I’m unable to do everyday tasks which I find very frustrating.
I’ve recently had another MRI of my thigh and am going back to see my specialist in 2 weeks.
