Happy New Year!

Hello everyone and nice to "meet" you all. I am Stacy from New York and was diagnosed with MS in 1998. My symptoms are rather mild - mainly double vision and some balancing issues. I have learned to live a lifestyle that includes working out every day and being mindful of my eating. But I love food and never deny myself anything but eat in moderation. I have a job that I love and a wonderful support system of friends and family. I have met many wonderful people through MS educational events and dinners and I hope to meet more of you through this wonderful forum.

Hi StaBla! So nice to meet you. I too have had double vision be one of my MAJOR symptoms of MS, and it’s the one that led to my diagnoses tbh. I work out to keep my mind and body in touch and also to do something I know is good for me helps me stay strong. I am not currently on any dmts but focus on eating healthy. I would love to hear how you deal with your double vision! I had prisms in my glasses for years and last Oct had the double vision surgery. I go back Jan 27 for a 2 month post op. The double vision is better but not gone…..and now i don’t have the prisms that work lol. It’s all a process you know?? Grateful I can walk and talk and not too reliant on outside help. The seeing thing is hard though! I also seem to have more memory problems lately for whatever reason. I go back to neurologist tomorrow. Wish there was a magic pill to make everything perfect for all of us but that is “not yet”. Welcome! I look forward to chatting. Hugs!
