HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

It's a brand new year & I am looking forward to brand new things to happen! yes I am I will look for the good in everything I may stumble a few times probable land on my fanny pretty hard at times BUT I will get up & start again.

The reason is simple 1 year on Ocrevus & I am still in awe that doing a DMT every 6 months is working!!! I was worried at first as I new my MS was breaking through most of the DMT I had tried. I gave it to God & He took care of me as He has since I was Dx in March of 94. This March will be 26 yrs. I praise God every day for the many blessings He gives me.

I am looking forward to this year & all of His blessings again!! PRAYERS & BLESSINGS TO ALL OF YOU!! Mary

So glad that Ocrevus is working for you! I thought about maybe switching from Avonex (been injecting since 1997) as I was dx in 1994 too. But, if it ain't broke why fix it? I must be very lucky (despite a few mild flares) my MRIs have been stable for the 22 years I've been on Avonex.

Yes I believe in that "if it's not broke don't fix it! Glad to hear your doing good also I was on Avonex for about 5 1/2 yrs in the beginning then the side effects started getting to ne that fluey feeling had me down for most of the week got to feeling better for 1 day then it was time for the next shot. It's great that it is helping you.

I am also on O and I look forward to the results that are to come

My 1st full dose is Jan 20 then my 2nd is in June . My pt made it a point to tell me to come back after the 3rd infusion

I have to say that I'm fortunate to be with a provider( Shirley Ryan Ability Lab here in Chgo) where I can get the help I need. I just finished at one location doing pt, ot, and speech. This month I move to another department where I will focus on pain management, pt, and ot. After completing that clinic I'll go back to the other clinic and I would have had my 3rd infusion.

My pt told me he has seen great improvement in people who have been on O

I'm like a kid in the candy store and waiting for Xmas to see what I got under the tree

Yes mam!! I pray always thanking God for putting me on O & thanking Him for the many blessings He has given me including all of the members of Health unlocked a family like no other. I pray for all my sisters & brothers here also!!
