MS and added stuff

It seems that MS is enough in itself..that to add the flu covid etc found myself praying on the floor for my old normal. it is strange with inflamation of the body with flu? other pains were dead. dont understand that. be thankful if you have others at home who care enough to bring water. went to doc and a new one who recorded conversation...? asked me what i thought was wrong. i give up and what doesnt kill you makes you stronger...i go nowhere...how do things creep in? done and done. Happy holidays you all. day 8 in bed....

I hope you feel better soon jackiesj ! The flu plus Covid all at once sounds miserable. Maybe by the holiday next week, you’ll be well enough to enjoy it. That’s my wish for you.

i'm so sorry, but THIS!!! i noticed this ages back. i can just about cope with the neuro rubbish, but add on anything else and i'm lost. i was recently diagnosed with mcas (and shocked, a doctor actually diagnosed me with something!!), but it's been hell. i can barely manage to care for my cats and shower. i've been going through this unaided for a year and there have been times when i seriously thought, how long can i cope with this? how much more can i take?

re doctor nonsense: you can always tell when you're seeing one with confirmation bias syndrome. i saw a neuro about a year ago who'd decided i was a head case before even seeing me. he made me do the romberg test 7 times and every time i nearly fell. the nurse was so freaked out, she kept stopping herself from coming to me. finally i asked him if i could stop. i literally saw him notice nystagmus, consider it, then discard it because i'm nuts, right? i HATE neuros. they are the worst for god complex. i'm so sorry you're going through this. i would've stopped the recording immediately. i often wish they could spend 1 hour in my body. most wouldn't be able to string a sentence together after 5 minutes, but they look at me and decide I'M the head case!

I'm sorry for what you went through with the doctor, and what's happening with your health. I've often wished I could give my MS to others for a few days! Mostly so they would understand...but sometimes for darker reasons! 🤨 I hope things get better for you. ❤️

Hope you feel better soon jackiesj ❤️‍🩹 Having Covid and flu independent of each other is bad enough but to get hit with the double wammy, I can imagine is not good. Hope you feel better soon. Keep us updated on how you are doing when you can.

I'm so sorry. That sounds pretty awful. I had Covid three months ago, and my MS is still pretty angry about it. I wish you a speedy and complete recovery! 🙏

I am so sorry Jackies you have to be miserable. I wish I had an answer for you but sorry I don't. I agree MS is enough to deal with but nope there are lots of other things that can't resist but have to stop in for a visit at the same time.

I look at it like this: life is an adventure, then add asthma, a bigger adventure while learning about asthma oops MS stopped by. Wow adventure got bigger. Okay now I'm learning about MS, there is lots to learn there. then diabetes type 2 slides down the chute. I hollard HELP and Jesus promises to always be there. I am PROUD to say more than 30 years later He is still here helping when I remember ask! I will be praying for you. I pray for all of my MS family every day. God bless. Mary

OH NO! I am so sorry to read this!! my sweet girl just got diagnosed with Covid yesterday, but the scary thing was we had just spent the weekend together plus most of the and then she tested positive on Wednesday.. my sister-in-law has tested positive to and Covid.. luckily I have not seen her for a bit though.. but they're all coming this way at Christmas time.. I do hope you feel better very soon. You are absolutely right having MS is enough without all the aches and pains and complications of being really sick like that.
