chairlift

hi everyone!

my wife just bought me a chairlift and it is so helpful to get up after falling on the floor. I just have to get myself over onto the and then press the up button. It’s a lot easier for my wife to help me without her straining her back. I would personally recommend this. She got it for me from Amazon.

Anyhow, I hope all of you are doing you can be.

Congratulations! I've been considering one, but so far I'm still managing to get myself out of my comfy armchair.

Maybe in a week or two you could post a link for it and give us your full opinion?

Which one?

I’m so happy for you. My mother had a chairlift that helped her with mobility issues. I thank God every day that I can still walk & don’t need assistance devices Yet!🙏🏻❤️Lisa 💕

I've had a chair lift for the last three years. It is a Godsend. No more worrying about not lifting your foot high enough so you won't stumble and fall. Good luck with it, I'm sure you will be very happy with it.

You might be able to contact MSFocus, or maybe even MSAA.

Really? They help with big ticket items? Thank you

or even the MS Society. If you contact one of those organizations, they may be able to help you or at least guide you to the right direction.

From personal experience, MSAA was able to give me an exercising bike and the MS Society was able to give me a bike with three wheels and a basket.

That's brilliant! As long as your wife doesn't need to waste her energy, and the health of her back, getting you up, that's a huge win in my book ❤️The only assisting devices I need in my house is a stairlift. At least now I don't need my husband to sit on the stairs in front of me as I sit on the stairs getting down them. We called it "booty scootie", lol. Now, I can safely get up and down by myself when my legs aren't properly working 😁 like sure, I've got my stick and wheelchairs in my house too, but I only need to use my stick when inside places and not needing to walk long distances. The only time my husband, or my carer, needs help is if I have a tonic-clonic seizure and drop. But I often go status epilipticus and so need paramedics 🤷‍♀️
