Love the Provigil

Well, I have been on the medication long enough to make an assessment. It has definitely made a big difference on my energy level. I take it with my other morning meds and it wears off by the time I am wrapping up my day. I’m happy to report that it has not affected my sleep pattern at all, but my energy level during the day has greatly improved. I have been able to get some things done that have been on my list for ages, but I was always too tired. I emptied out my kitchen cupboards, wiped them down, disinfected everything and reorganized the lot. That is just one of many projects I have conquered since getting on the medication. Overall, I simply have felt better. I think I used to have this energy (maybe?), like 30 years ago? I believe it is close to how normal people might feel. I still take a nap every afternoon and I still rest if I need to, but that doesn’t happen as often. Just wanted to share my experience with you in case anyone has wondered about this medicine. I hope you enjoy the upcoming Christmas music which will soon be heard in ALL the stores! Haha Love to all, Kelly

soon! Real soon! But let me get through Thanksgiving first! lol

I’m glad the medicine is working wonders for you! So much so that I gotta write it down and ask my dr for it! Real great job on getting things done!

I hope you have the same success with it! I got denied from Medicare early in the day, but after they spoke with my doctor they immediately approved it. Just an FYI.

This drug was available for MS fatigue 25 years ago. At that time it was not a controlled substance. My Kaiser neurologist prescribed it for me back then. It made me very, very tired and sleepy. That was because I had yet-to-be-diagnosed ADHD.

I am so happy for you, Kelly!

I took it for many years. For me, it only worked for three or three and a half hours, but it helped me to get ready in the morning which was no small thing! I had to give it up, along with beloved caffeine, when I developed anger issues (not from the Provigil, it just aggravated my lovely new problem!)

I'm so happy to hear it is working for you.

I had a different experience than you. With me it caused seizures that were pretty violent.

It made me really anxious, irritable, and prone to panic attacks. Thankfully I didn’t have seizures. That must have been awful!

I must ask my neuro about it, although I dread adding yet another pill to my days. I'm on...12...13? But it does sound good and I'm so very glad it is working for you!

Thats great news! I too started 3 days ago. 100mg.

No side effects or sleep issues. Feel like I had strong coffee the first day. 😂 Not so much yesterday or today though.

What’s your dose?

hi, can I ask you how long it took to work and if u had any side effects or if they went away. Wondering what dose you took and at what time. I am probably going to be starting this medication but don’t know much about it and I can be sensitive to medication. Thank you.
