Recovering from surgery was going well...until it wasn't. I spent the weekend in agony with symptoms and extreme pain that shouldn't have occurred. Saw the surgeon this morning, and he's equally puzzled. I have a CT scan scheduled for next week so we can rule out something gone wrong inside, but in the meantime, he also did bloodwork that is showing definite signs of liver damage. That's what killed my uncle 18 months ago, and his last few months were horrific. I am trying to stay calm.

Oh, no. I'm so sorry to hear you're having so much pain. I hope that you will make a total pain in the a$$ of yourself until you get some pain relief.
I'm sorry your tests show liver damage. That has to be so frightening, based on what happened to your uncle, but your case may not be as bad as his. I give you credit for trying to stay calm, as I'm sure it's not easy! Will pray for pain relief and a good prognosis for you, Nora'sMom.

I hold you in the light and keep you in my thoughts and heart.
Hello. Iβm so glad to see your message. I was ready to send out the troops to search for you! I hope that youβre doing well and that you had a good harvest from the garden this year!
Ah, Kelly, first of all HU wouldn't let me sign on, and of course, if you can't sign on you can't let administrators know. Then I had phone trouble, solved after two new phones. And in the midst of all this, I packed up and moved 5 hours north so now I'm closer to Philadelphia than to Richmond. The goats and hens had to be rehomed, the sweet dog as well, but now I'm in town and closer to everything an aging goat gal needs. It's been exhausting, but little by little everything's slowly falling into place. I'm glad to be back because the family I found here with you and everyone else sustains me.
Well, goodness. I never expected to hear this saga. Are you happy with your new location and situation? Iβm sorry that you have left your world of the chickens, goats and dog. I know that the world changes, but it is difficult to hear about the kind of change you have experienced. I hope it is a good one for you. Perhaps you would e-mail me and tell me a bit more about it. I would love to hear from you.
I am so sorry to hear this. π€
Oh no, so sorry to hear you are in so much pain. I wish they could get you in sooner for your scan since you are in so much pain. I hope they gave you something to help until they figure out what is going on. Hugs, friend. Please keep us updated.
Iβm sorry that you are suffering with pain and that you received such a scary potential diagnosis. Please do stay calm. Anxiety is only going to make things worse. I know from experience. Did you get any help for the pain? Iβm sending you positive vibes and am praying for good outcome for you.
So sorry to hear! Hope youβre feeling better and that you get some answers soon
I am sending you lots of love and positive thoughts.
I'm so sorry to hear you are in so much pain. I am praying for you. Leslie
Praying that the pain gets under control and the CT gets done sooner than scheduled. Iβm so very sorry that all of your furkids had to be rehomed. That must have added dramatically to your stress level. Wishing you a speedy and full recovery ππ»ππ»
