Go into your pm menu- on the right hand side there's a small arrow. Click on this and it will give you the option to mute them.As carolek527 says , see if johnMSAA can assist

You could also report them to HU directly via the report button at the bottom of their pm to you.

If I open the conversation itself, I also see a "Report" option at the bottom of the chat messages. That might be an easy way to report the issue.

I had him as well!He sent "hello" and me, thinking he was a fellow MSer, said hello back. Then he wanted to know more about me, like my name and stuff, and red flags started popping up in my head. Told him that all he needed to know is on my HeathUnlocked page. He wanted me to download an app called "zangi" so we could message more privately. Haha, nope! Reported as spam and muted him!

There's been many people who've been scammed with that app! They're talking about it on Reddit (you don't need to sign in or download the Reddit app to see what people have written), and about all the slimey ways and reasons for getting money from you.

I think he is now toast! He tried to message me today and I was looking for the report button, but I couldn’t find anything to block or report him. I think he is completely out of the picture now. It’s very sad that someone would prey on people, isn’t it?

I feel like they should receive mental health support. It’s obvious that either they are very lonely or they have criminal intentions.

That's good they've gone Yes it is sad. I've never understood what motivates people to do these things. Especially on health sites .

We 've had a few on the Anxiety and Depression Support site .
