It was 96 in the shade here this afternoon. I could barely breathe every time I let the dog out, and even he wasn't interested in staying long. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that my ancient AC doesn't fail.

It's hotter than heck here, too. I'll be having to water my tomatoes three times a day for a while, since the pots tend to dry out fast when it's this hot. Other than that, it looks like a great week to stay inside whenever possible. I hope everyone can do the same! 🥵🌡🔥

I know my porch has beautiful flowers and hubby has to constantly water them!

We were supposed to camp with my daughter's family and I was so glad when they canceled. Sitting in AC in the camper the whole time didn't sound like fun!

I know that’s right! I feel like I’m on “house arrest.”! I love sitting on my porch with my plants; so peaceful- but too hot 🥵 My A/C is working overtime!
