Well the DRs. are talking about sending Bill to another hospital that has a great rehab area. The problem is I don't drive any more & that would mean my sister would have to drive on the express ways which scare her & car is little Hyundai Accent. The wind blows it around. God will figure this out. He has always had they answer when I ask. Blessing to all Mary

Maybe you could get a hotel near the hospital, if that's financially feasible? Maybe there might be public transportation between the hospital and the hotel? Perhaps someone from your church would be happy to help you. You could call the hospital and ask to talk to a social worker and ask them, too. I'm praying for both of you!

I hadn't thought of this, but occasionally there are hospitals and rehab facilities that have arrangements along the lines of the Ronald McDonald House where family members can stay for cheap. Definitely check with the staff to see if something could be arranged for you. My aunt made a 60-mile round trip every day for 6 months to see my uncle, and it's so incredibly exhausting, even for the able-bodied. Please keep us updated.
