What has your GP/PCP had to say about them? How often does it occur, and when it does, how long do the episodes last? Do the pins & needles/ tingling sensations happen at the same time as the vision problems? Do you have an MS diagnosis?
Neurological Disorder. I would suggest getting the best Neurologist you can afford. Ones affiliated with big time Universities have access to the best resources to help you. Sometimes they have financial resources to help you. Best to you. Keep coming back. There are allot of good people here. Calfeechick
Hello FairySpice, Sorry to hear that you are experiencing these issues. I think the best action steps you should take is scheduling an appointment with a Neurologist ; particularly one who specializes in MS. The only way to get definitive answers is a doctor!!!! Keep a journal of your symptoms and take it with you! Please keep us updated! 🙏Praying for you! Blessings NeeC
Adding to what others have said. Your doctor may want to check your vitamiin B12 levels to see if you are low or deficient. In the US, what is considered normal is in the deficient range in much of the world. If your test comes back low normal, you might be advised to get a B12 supplement or start with injections. None of that is difficult, so don’t worry! Hope you get an answer quickly.
If you haven't been to a neurologist and gotten thier thoughts the it doesn't mean a MS diagnoses what the others have said it could be many different diagnoses. Start with your PCP and get thier opinion and start from there.
9Having had M.S. for many decades, and having had tingling for years, you get used to them. Laying in bed this morning and focusing, yep they're there. It's not lack of excersise, I got over 10K steps yesterday. And don't confuse them with the once in a while say sitting in a car for a long time, painful can't stand on them for a bit fallen asleep tingling, those can't be ignored, just have to grin and bear it till the circulation returns. Remember to take the wallet out of your back pocket helps. But the other tingling, yes check with a neuro. I had the foot falling asleep even as a kid. The tingling, not till M.S. But the tingling didn't cause alarm. Optic Neuritis multiple times, and weakness in limbs were the initial big red flags. The optometrist suggestion to see a nuero during my first optic neuritis event was eye opening, pun intended!
