I'm up early this morning, didn't sleep much last night. My mother is 80 and she has had long covid since a week following Thanksgiving last year. About a month ago her covid turned to Pneumonia. She has been fighting it. Trips to the ER on several occasions. A few days in the hospital last week. Then I got a call she was back there yesterday morning. My stepfather called yesterday evening and her BP has dropped way low. They put a catheter in her neck? I don't know all about it. I do know she isn't responding to the antibiotics. I'm trying to get my strength together to have my friend take my up there it's about an hour and a half trip. So I'm trying to pull all my pieces together cause there is great concern from everyone. π
Im so sorry Allen5280 π€ ππ
~May She Be Wrapped In The Wings Of Angels Always~
I am doing OK π
You are always doing ok! ππ€ππ
My MS has ups and downs, has kicked my butt and taken all of my energy. But it seems to have never been as bad as most of the people I have met here. I always have issues with my MS but right now, besides the pain, I am ok.
Take care lady.β€οΈ
Good! My tots allowed me to sleep π My house has been a merry go round of colds, and it's so hard for them to sleep sometimes, but it seems like everyone is on the mend. We turned on the outdoor Xmas lights last night and they ran around the yard so excited to see it! I know, it's too early, and our Halloween decorations are still up π€£π€£π€£π«£
π€£ππ€£ My daughter comes out every morning since Halloween saying Merry Christmas! π€£ππ€£ Shes going to bring out the stuff soon, l know it! π€£π€£ My oldest is going to be here w/ my gkids for Christmas in umm omg 3 wksππ€£
I say keep the lights on! They are only that age once! Enjoy it! π€ππ
Merry NovemberMas! ππ€£ As long as she's doing the decorating! My mom is like that, and loves decorating, so she will start digging around soon for some cheerπ Exactly my thoughts on it, they are the whole reason we have them. We are being kind to the neighbors though and have them turning off at 11pm. Once mornings get darker I'll change it!
I am good, keeping busy with a few ink (new kind of inks which got me riled up like getting the 64 color crayon box- but only 6-lol)paintings, stained glass projects with my sis-in-laws and getting ready to start throwing clay again.
How are you?
You are keeping busy!! Im still trying to figure out where a cpl days went... π€£ππ€£ then l remembered... l sat here stuned for a day, because my mother broke a qtip in her earπ Dad called the ambulance, they told him to take her to the ER to get it out. I took me the whole day to stop laughing and just being shocked... (shaking head) π€£ππ€£π€ππ
You made me laugh too!ππ
I suppose it's better than having an earwig in your ear. They are jerks! I had one in my shirt and their bites felt like an electric shock.... and one more thing:
tangent /tΔnβ²jΙnt/n
noun
A line, curve, or surface meeting another line, curve, or surface at a common point and sharing a common tangent line or tangent plane at that point. The trigonometric function of an acute angle in a right triangle that is the ratio of the length of the side opposite the angle to the length of the side adjacent to the angle. A sudden digression or change of course.
"went off on a tangent during his presentation."
πππ
Why does that deff not match the word? I am very confused, and lm gonna go off ona tangentπππ€£ππ€£π€ππ
I'm good but having unidentifiable stomach issues. I'm not sure if I'm having gall bladder trouble, gastroparesis, or developing a gluten allergy. There's just no consistency, and I'm afraid to eat anything!
Yuck! Call your dr! Let them figure it out for you! I hope you feel better soon! π€ππ
Doctor? What is a doctor? Much better to just muddle along nibbling at food and hoping I don't wind up doubled over in pain at 3 am. π€ͺ
π Ugh! I ended up like that with my gall bladder π’ I waited so long l had jaundice! So dont wait! π€ππ
Did you get what you thought might be the MS hug but worse than anything you've ever experienced, including childbirth?
I felt like a knife was going threw my back into my chest and heartburn at the same time π€ππ
Get to an Er. My friend had her gallbladder removed and it was gangrene. Please get some help.π
Yeah, well...my grandmother's was gangrenous when it was taken out, and I just learned tonight that one of my cousins is currently hospitalized with...you guessed it. I think I should probably call the doctor on Monday. At least I haven't had any more problems this week.
So caring, just like you β€οΈ I've been okay -can't complain -not too many bad πππ days Hopefully I'll continue on this jourΓ±eyPeace and Blessings

Hugs for you!!π€ I'm still doing good. MS still in remission. I've been getting some quilting done for Christmas. A couple of grandkids are getting quilts this year. But I think there is a black hole that is swallowing up the days of the week. Every now & then a day disappears.π
Right?? I keep losing days and l dont know where they are goingπ its messing with my anxioty so muchπ’π€ππ
Agree with both of you. Days and places go missing. Neuro claims itβs just stress but I feel itβs more than that.
Would you be kind enough to show me where my current email address is being seen and how to change it?
Thanks,
Marci
Thank you for the hug and here's one back. π€
I am fighting a big downslide with my depression. Went to the doctor today where she doubled my depression meds. I have some ideas to try to help myself as well. I would like to volunteer somewhere one day a week. Getting out of the house and being around other people will help.
That is a tough place to be in MrsMike.. I have been there.. volunteering sounds like a great idea and the increase on the meds doesnβt have to be forever.. maybe to get you through this hard patch.. sending big hugs your way π€
Thanks. Depression runs through my mom's side of the family. Her brother committed suicide as did her son, my brother. One of my sisters has tried several times. My brother and sister are both bipolar. The rest of us "just" have depression. So I know the signs and know when to reach out. Unfortunately the depression legacy has been sent to my daughter. It's a good thing the other three are adopted as well as my granddaughter! So it will stop with my daughter.
