Honor your friends and family

I saw this on Reddit and will be gifting my loved ones with a commemorative lesion:

"Ive named my most recent set of lesions after people in my office. I brought in an MRI screenshot and showed them their seating chart in my brain."

The biggest one will be named for my sisterπŸ˜…

Wonderful! If we can name the stars after someone (if we pay enough), there must be a way to honor someone by naming our lesions after them. It is an honor, right? I think there's money to be made here, especially if we have numerous lesions. It's not just MS, it's an investment plan!

What does it mean when you name a lesion and it is healed? What happens to the person?

falalalala profile image
falalalalaβ€’ in reply toTazmanian

They completely disappear as well so choose wisely!

Can we name ones that have already healed? I want to add my ex-husband's name to it.

πŸ˜‚πŸ‘ I’m confused (normal 😏) know it’s a joke but since we are commiserating about lesions,..is it if you name lesion after them, they will disappear if lesion does? Gives me a whole new incentive! When I was diagnosed neurologist told my husband and I that 2 lesions in 2 CNS areas were needed for ms dx. Then told us they stopped counting at 48 tiny shiny lesions and a meningioma in frontal lobe (no partridge in a pear tree this time). My husband divorced me after 22yrs. He couldn’t watch what ms was doing to me. Wtf? I would definitely name all things that shouldn’t be in my body after him.
