Can the 3tesla mr device cause a permanent feeling of warmth in my body?

I had 3tesla mr in a private hospital in turkey (penile mr), they said the process would take 20-25 minutes, but I stayed inside for almost 40 minutes. I was later told that I stayed 28 minutes. I noticed some abnormalities 1 week after the MRI, my body was overheating and I seemed to be radiating heat. I did not wear the clothes they gave me during the MRI, they made sure that I had no metal on me and that I emptied my pockets. I went in with a T-shirt / shorts / boxers and socks, and I had a breathe right band on my nose so I could breathe. There was nothing else other than that. My t-shirt is a cotton t-shirt and my shorts are also metal-free (as far as I know) because they are basketball shorts. I received the CD from the hospital and asked for my sar values. After stalling me for 1 week, they said that they contacted siemens and received my sar values.

I am attaching the pictures of the paper they gave me:

About 1 month has passed since the incident, but my complaints are still continuing. I went to a dermatology professor and explained the situation. He told me that I may have a vasculitis due to covid and that the fact that I entered the mr would have stimulated it, it may have created a reactive condition, it should be temporary. Afterwards, he suggested that I apply lotion to the places where I felt burning and use the drug called trental (Pentoxifylline) for 2-3 months.

Now it has been 18 months since I had covid, okay, there were things like weight loss, veins becoming more prominent, etc. in my body, but these burning sensations were absolutely absent and it happened after mr. People are trying to make me believe that it is psychological etc. but when I go out in a little cool air, the problem officially decreases like day and night, especially at night when the air gets a little cooler and the wind comes out, I get better.

I am now psychologically depressed and I don't know what harm has come to me. I want to understand whether the hospital did something wrong or something wrong happened because of the MRI. Although my pelvic region (penile MR) was taken during the MRI, I felt some wavy sensations on my back and I felt that it was hot in the last 10-15 minutes. Even when I went out, I asked the technician and he said that the machine could get hot after a certain period of time and that this was normal.

The burning sensations I feel in my body are felt more locally in some places, but in general, my body has never cooled down, that is, when it was 37 degrees, I was less uncomfortable in 25 degrees air, I feel much hotter now and this was definitely not before. Many radiologists I talked to said that mr did not have such an effect, but the last dermatologist I went to said that there may be a vascular problem in my body, such as vasculitis, and that mr made a reactive trigger here, and that he thought it should pass over time.

I am now in incredible fear and helplessness. Please help me with a blood test, a test of the amount of radiofrequency in my body, or I don't know, but I am ready to have any test, even if it is expensive, that can help me in some way, please help me.

I told it very complicated because I am very stressed, but I will answer every single question you ask because I want to get rid of this situation.

I haven't experienced this and I have had the majority of my MRIs on 3t scanners. Do you have MS? Did the MRI show new lesions? MS can cause altered sensation. Is this your first MRI? Maybe you had a reaction to the Gadolinium they inject for the MRI unless it was done without contrast. There is no radiation involved in MRIs. Seems there could be multiple explanations and you may never know the exact cause.

i dont have ms as i know also i looked ms symptoms and i dont have it. its my first mri after covid, before that i had a open mri 3-4 years ago without problem. I dont take contrast. The ınterestıng thıng ıs that when the temperature drops at nıghts and if i go outside my body getting cold and i feel normal. Also i dont have this issue before mri as far as i remember. Of course i feel hot after covid and some problems but definetely not like that i guess.

I am really sorry that you were going through all this additional stress. I have had many MRIs on the 3T scanner. I believe I've already had three this year. l Last year I had to have four at one time... I also experience the heat, but for me, it was not lasting fortunately. You mentioned that you were experiencing some depression, but are you being treated for your depression? Often times people who are experiencing depression can also have anxiety and that tends to make the feelings you're having even worse .I would recommend talking to a counselor. I feel that with Covid there is so much they still don't know about that virus… Hopefully with time and patience your symptoms will resolve.

thank you AquaZumbaFan for your comment

I live in Turkey and the house I live in is very hot, I live with only one fan, the air is 33-34 degrees and the humidity is high

I'm in the house all the time, and I think it might be ruining me to be exposed to it.

Because I use mosquito nets and even at night, the inside of the house is almost not properly ventilated because if even 1 mosquito enters the house, it keeps me awake.

I think I may be experiencing overheating during the day because even when it drops to 24-25 degrees in the afternoon, the redness and warmth in my hands really disappear.

there's a high probability that it's entirely heat-related.

because I have these feelings when I'm happy, if the weather is hot, I have these feelings when I feel bad.

When I feel bad, of course, it feels like there are 2 times more, that's another matter.

I spent 3 hours in a scanner once (brain, spine and elbow), but never had any residual issues.

Mert, we all have M.S, or support a family member with M.S. We cannot give you medical advice. It sounds like you should see a medical professional. If your finances permit, invest in an air conditioner. Your (Celsius) temp is too high to deal with day and night! Prayers for you as you find a solution. 🙏
