Has had pain since so this is the next step π. Just received letter denying my prescription for migraines π On to the next step. Still doing the Nurtec as needed. Have a great day everyone πππΌπ

Iβm sorry to hear about the med disapproval π‘. I hope there is a way. Stay the course.
Take care, ET
the cartoon is hilarious! And true!
I am happy itβs beautiful there! Tell him good luck! I am weary of having my knee replaced! I am so sad you got denied for meds! I hope you get what you need! Have a great day!
That cartoon reminds me of my last dog. Now, he'd always slept with me, but he also slept anywhere without showing a preference. I bought myself a lovely king-sized fleece blanket, the first I'd ever had, and he stole it! I took it back, spread it across the bed...and he took it again. I eventually gave up, and he'd drag it all around the house to lay on. It was the only "toy" that he ever became attached to.
can you and your medical professional contest the denial of your migraine medication, Kenu ? Love your funny because I own a weighted two cat blanket! πΊπΊ
I love the cartoon! So sorry about the denial, but I'm sure your Dr. can/will appeal the insurance company's decision. After all, he is the one who wrote the prescription, and the Insurance company only job is to approve it for your use. If it is the only thing that helps with your migraine pain management, they need to know that, accept it, approve coverage and move on.
You can call or write and appeal the decision, as well. Take care, Kenu, and I hope your brother heals quickly and well. Linda
My dog doesn't sleep on my bed π
Most newer drugs are automatically denied. The next step is for your dr to file an appeal or a prior authorization. Does your insurance require that you try and "fail" on several older, cheaper meds first before they will approve this one? That's how it usually works. So get the others filled, after a couple weeks say that they fail to help, and soon you will make it up the list to the one that actually helps you. Hopefully this might work. I am so sorry you are having to deal with this. Good luck.
