Here is our annual cookie day photo. I'm at the back (red sweatshirt) along with my husband in the elf hat. In the front is my son-in-law, Andy, my daughter & his wife Bailey. The Asian girl is my younger daughter, Zoe and her two friends from college, Brittany and Abbey. Eight double batches and one quad batch. We have more cookies than a store!
It was fun but the next day I couldn't walk. Too much standing! But a bit better today. This is our big family tradition. No decorations but lots of cookies!

At last weigh in at the dr. office I was down 17 pounds. That was before Thanksgiving. I'm pretty sure I've lost a touch more. My son has a checkup in January so I will check myself again then.
Boy 2 moved out last early summer. I saw him at Thanksgiving for the first time since he left. Awkward! Boy 1 is doing better (I think!) Christmas will be...interesting. Not looking forward to it.
Do you know what is causing your weight loss or is it a "On Purpose" loss? I ask as my weight dropped 20 lbs since my MS DX and I want to be able to point a finger at the culprit...
I was diagnosed last August with ANOTHER autoimmune disease. It's called collagenous colitis. The worst thing I've ever gone through. At the onset I couldn't stay out of the bathroom for several weeks. I couldn't eat anything. Just pouring liquid in a glass would make me rush to the bathroom and usually I didn't make it. It's calmed down now but I still have to be careful of how much and what I eat. I'm so want a salad! Maybe someday...
mrsmike9buffering What a fun time that must have been! Despite the happy smiles, the great smells, and wonderful cookies, a marathon of baking is exhausting. I hope the elf did the dishes. If I remember my fairy tales accurately, elves have great talent for helping out!
mrsmike9 All those cookies? Do you need someone to come and help to eat all the cookies? I have extensive experience with that! BTW what do you do with all the cookies?
Come and nibble away! Some we give to people but the majority stay here. When people come we have something to offer. Plus we eat them and other goodies on New Year's Eve. We have a game night and nibbles (not a meal) then so we eat and play games until the ball drops.
