oh so true we had two kittens one year and we had to try the tree to the curtain rods ....it was terrible that was when we had breakable bulbs ...lost lots ....but we still loved them but what a mess ...

Many moons ago, perhaps 35 years, we had a Cairn Terrier, a Christmas tree, and presents under it. My wife and I went to the store for a bit and headed home. Well, our little "Arthur" decided to open every present under the tree, it looked like the tree threw up under ware and socks, along with the wrapping AND the plastic bags.

Needless to say, but we washed everything before wearing! He was a special boy, even the Vet said "I wouldn't be surprised if the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck for too long!" We agreed, but he was a part of our family for 16 years!
