And if they did? They LIED! π€£π The truth is. You Can get through it!
After losing Kai and the hospital, and trying to deal with my dad (PTSD)... I went into a major depression, I think a relapse was in there too! It takes time.. with MS it seems to take more time! For me anyway.
But know this! I missed y'all! π€£π€ππ

Awe, @Jesmcd2 Truer word never written! Great to see you! I've been down for months now. Hubby is going through "Male Menopause" or something like it He's depressed, anxiety attacks, almost called 911- 3 nights ago for him. He's paranoid about spending any money, gasoline prices, groceries, etc. I've taken to walking more often to gym, Walgreens and more local shops. If I go anywhere, I have to call him when I arrive and when I head home.
π ππHave faith, things will get better. π
Ya, dad is still going off on his neighbors, mom wants me to fix it all. He went off on his brother, oy vey! Hang in there!!! CalfeeChick You will get through it! π€ππ
Hello, my name is Ann & I am 69 years old. After a decade of miss diagnosis I finally went to a Neurologist that ordered an MRI & a spinal tap that confirmed his diagnosis. He did not tell me which MS I had but over the last 40 years it is proven to be Progressive which has left me totally dependent on other people care. The edema is one of my biggest problem, but I was told by an orthopedic to contact a Edema clinic so I did. A two team nurse cam to my house an taught my daughter how to wrap my leg, ankle, foot and toes with a graduation layer that stays on for two or 3 days. on the days I do not have them wrapped I wear compression stockings. It has been a game changer, so much help. but you are right it not easy.
Hi ALARAW welcome to the family!! I'm so sorry that it took so long for your diagnosis. Are you taking a DMT now? Sorry to hear about your edema, very glad you are seeing someone about it! It's not easy, and we didn't ask for it, But we can get through it! π€ππ
