Well, it looks like I've been quite fortunate: Cycles 1 and 2 of Year 1 have been completed without noticeable side effects. Phew! Cycle 2 offered a couple of small things that made me wonder if they were side effects: 1) what looked like a small cold sore on my lip; I've never had one before, and it only lasted about three days, so I'm not sure. Could have just been chapped; and 2) trouble sleeping during the time I was taking the pills; this could be purely coincidental, as insomnia comes around every now and then.
Next steps: new baseline MRI next week, followed by blood work two months after last dose, and again six months after first dose. I gather that for the next couple months I'm still at increased risk of infection while my immune system rebuilds itself. Am crossing my fingers that my good fortune holds!

I’ve just completed Round 1 of Year 2–just two days ago! This time I had a slight stomach ache on the first three nights, even though I had taken the pills after dinner.
Over the past year I’ve done pretty well, I’d say—didn’t have any illnesses, but of course I haven’t been around people as much as in the past. I have had increased spasticity in my legs but that started before the Mavenclad. I also feel sure that the spasticity is made worse by the junk food I’ve been eating since the pandemic started, so I don’t think Mavenclad has anything to do with it.
I had brain and cervical MRIs in June, no changes, and my blood work was unremarkable.
