I'll blame it on cognitive fog, if I can. I made this for a neighbor who very much needed some encouragement. I got it quilted and bound, snapped a picture, and then hurried it to her. Only after I got home and looked at the picture while filing it away, did I see the error. Laugh for the day.

I see what you mean but it is for sure that it wasn't made in some factory. All my projects have a little mistake here or there. It's beautiful
Both the colors & design are lovely.I like that little extra purple in the lower right hand.
It made me smile and that is always a good thing when viewing someone's work.
I'd call it "Rulebreaker" or "Quilt Telling Me What To Do!"
Hey, just take a sharpie and fix the picture and no one will ever remember!!!! Wonderful possibility? And yes they make sharpies in the right color!
Love it! You gave your neighbor a little extra!
It’s simply beautiful. I couldn’t find the “error” right away. Let’s call it your signature
Hey, we're not machines, we're humans, we all make them someplace. Beautiful quilt for that "lucky to have you" neighbor! Be satisfied within that you completed it and gave it to your friend.
It’s beautiful. Love purple.
I think it's lovely & keeper!
My favourite colour. I really had to look to see what you were talking about. That’s not a mistake, its quilting engineering at the highest level, and if you are going to make a mistake, what better colour to do it in. Beautiful as always. 🤗
The mistake is so well hidden that unless you point out the mistake i would never notice it and think it was done on purpose. It's beautiful!
It now has "character". It's beautiful, I love the colors.
I think it is just right.
Call the extra your "signature."
All I see is a great gift from a nice neighbor.
This quilt is lovely as well as a beautiful, meaningful gift. Stop the self-criticism. Many great artists sign their work; the little extra in the design is your signature. Somewhere I recall reading a moral about making deliberate errors because only God is capable of perfection.
wow!what error? you might see it,but something made with love makes you blind to mistakes!lucky receiver
I do not see an error. My knowledge of quilting is limited, but it looks like a beautiful quilt to me! Just lovely!
I don’t see an error. It looks fab! How nice
It is stunning! Beautiful colors! I like the error. It says “I love you so much I had to make it myself.”
A quilt made with love have no mistakes. It is beautiful!
Still gorgeous! I am always so impressed!
So pretty!!🌸
Absolutely beautiful! I had to look forever to find the error, but I think it makes it just that much more special!
i don't think they will even notice it ...it is beautiful ...should be feel very proud of a great job......just say you didn't want it to be perfect for you knew she needed some great love from a friend and this will never be like anyone else's ...love it ...be proud ...love and much happiness shows in your work ...
