I was determined to get on March 20th and walk. I made it about one block with my husbands help and it felt so good. Kinda late posting cause he had cataract surgery the following week and so many appointments and his daughter came from 500 miles away to drive us to hospital, and now I put in 3 drops 4x a day in his eyes. And tonight it will be colder than it’s been in 90 years so we covered all our budding plants, but here is my walking for MS photo. Love all you guys! Appreciate your posts! God bless you all this Easter weekend.

I walked!
Glad you were able to get out and walk. I hope you husbands eyes heal well and fast
Good to see you in action again. Pleased you were able to walk. Hope Frank recovers quickly and it is a success, you have a blessed Easter too, 🐣
Thank you. Eyes doing well, just really tired. His EKG came back abnormal. Check on that after his second surgery scheduled April 28th. Our next big challenge before that is a trip up north to babysit a 12 yr old and 13 yr old while our daughter goes on her honeymoon! She is getting married April to a man who has 2 boys, who have never been left with anyone. This will be interesting. We have visited them only once. We will stay at their home for a week in Ohio while Jenn goes on a week's vacation (honeymoon), first vacation in about 5 years. I wish I had some magic energy pills. At least they will be in school during the day. When we get back from that, then Frank will have his second surgery. Then, after recuperated, he will make appointment with cardiologist to check out what's wrong with heart. So, I probably won't be on here for awhile. lol. After his first surgery, I was so stressed and tired, my bronchitis flared up really bad. I am scheduled for covid vaccine tomorrow because I didn't want to make trip to Ohio without vaccine. I pray I won't have side affects. But, I haven't been around anyone for over a year. Appreciate anyone's prayers! Went to doctor yesterday for a change in sleep med and to have a skin tag burned off that was in a bad place, and he examined a painful place in groin area. He said it may be a lymph node inflamed. Anyone have trouble with that? It hurts to be in a position where my leg is bent in sitting position. Anyone have diagnosis of MTHFR mutation? Taking 15 mg of methylfolate is so expensive I stopped taking it, but gonna start again because I'm so tired of fatigue and depression (doctor said that was caused by the MTHFR mutation). Enough for today. Blessed Easter!
I once had a painful condition in the groin area that caused pain in sitting or riding, turned out to be a bartholin gland cyst. It was surgically removed, but only after I insisted the Dr. do it. He found that it also had a strand of fiber which was attached to a nerve, that may have been the cause of the pain. I will be praying for you and your schedule in the next couple of months. You're gonna need His help for certain. Easter blessings to you!
Thank You!! How did the doctor find it?? This has been painful and getting worse for 12 years.
An internal exam. Dr. did not want to operate on it, but I told him that if HE had this pain, HE would have someone take care of it. Then he took care of it, as he did a DNC. Is there a way to answer privately on this forum?
I can't find too many people without MS interested in this forum. I seriously doubt any reprobate will read it either...what can he/she clue in on? We have nothing in our showing up that indicates where or with whom we live and we leave nothing for our addresses and phone numbers. I suppose if a person can get into the nuts and bolts of the producers of this forum, reprobates may find out about each of us. We can't do much about that. If that does happen, we must report it...and I don't even know to whom. Gads ...Anyway,
What we do leave is our experiences, our medical results, our concerns, our thoughts, etc. I love to read this forum and totally appreciate the candor.
In my situation, I am mostly too tired to figure what to say or share. I have SPMS and can walk only with the help of dalfampridine, a potassium channel blocker. My major problem is where I live : in a cornfield in a remote area and though it is called a town, it is my "home" (not really--my real home is on the coast of the Pacific Ocean and this is Pennsylvania. I'll never go home..) and maybe 100 people actually live here.
There are no amenities here...no gas station, not a single store, no medical care, no music or art, no one interested in reading books and talking about them, no inviting others either due to no transportation, inability to walk far, or inclination to maintain social contact with people who are greater "loners" than even I am. The worst part, in my opinion, there is no transportation except your own...and my car is 22 years old an a rust bucket and definitely not reliable .
I invited another older person (73 yo) to live with me (82) and because he is a hoarder (it is unbelievable what he keeps....he throws absolutely nothing away excet his used TP), and a high functioning autistic with ADD and PTSD , life is not easy for me as he also thinks he must dominate it all and not share. Difficult to say the least.
As I progress in time with SPMS I become very concerned with looking at and thinking about the future. I need help with my housework at least once a week, I need help in maintaining this very old house, I need help paying my bills...and somehow or another I need to have a change in attitude.
Now I have no idea what any one of you thinks about this situation. And that's O.K
I still have the internet and can read what people like you have to say and I am grateful.

Comoesta, I hope others will reply to you with suggestions to help you in your situation. At this time I can only tell you about a website where you can get books to read free, and that is Archive.org. If you know an author or title, you can look it up and download it to read, on any subject you might want to read about. I will also pray for you, that someone will come into your life who will provide joy and hope.
