So MSAA_Staff 's post says close to 70% of us have felt isolated and loneliness in the past 6 months....
Oh what do, what to do..
Seriously! I'm asking, how do we fix this? What do you do? π€π

In my real life I have friends and family that I can rant to.
None of them can run fast.
When it comes to finding others that understand what MS can do,this site is very good.Especially for those who are home-bound.
I think any fix lies within the individual.
Pursue hobbies, interests, exercise, good diet-all of which can help lift one's state of mind.
Iβm lucky that my family and close friends are all comfortable with technology. We use technology to stay in touch throughout the day which helps me feel less alone in my confinement. Sometimes a brief text exchange is a good mood boost and sometimes a phone call is needed. Just depends. It was my saving grace when I was stuck in the ER for 6 1/2 hours on Xmas Eve. I was texting with 3 friends throughout so I didnβt feel alone.
I also have one small group of long time friends that have a Zoom happy hour once a month. Itβs definitely not the same as meeting up for brunch but itβs better than nothing. π¬
Ah , the big question, ms is lonely but not. You have us here, the ones that do not understand will learn, adapt or you will find a stronger support group
I really try to keep my life as normal as it was before ms.but nobody expected covid, and my tribe including the chief(my husband are very supportive
