i am having my infusion on wed the 20th.i am glad,i am in the middle of the "crap gap"this will be my 5th year, and no new lesions on my mri.theyare letting my hubby come back with me this time.i am glad.he has his own health problems(heart).I could not find any ms. money this year,so gentech (ocrevus) is suppling it.the hospital has a reservation on mine and the gentech replaces it.so grateful, there was more ms money now. makes you double think about donations.fingers crossed:)

I’m w/you pamgarner. I’m assuming the “crap gap” is the last 2-4 weeks that Okrevus is pretty much out of your system before the next infusion? If it is...I like that term and will use it in the future instead of what I often “think” it is in my mind! Lol

I just finished my 3rd full year on the drug w/no new lesions...praise God! Yes I couldn’t do anything without gentech or MSAA for assistance they both offer me in different ways. Very grateful.

yes my neurologist esplained to me when i was feeling bad 5 weeks out,it is the "crap gap:) they say we have cognitive problems but if you ask me we are very smart to manuver the drug cost and equipment,we haven't lost it yet

I have been on Ocrevus since 2016, the first 2 years on a clinical trial so it was free. Now the copay assistance program pays my $5600 deductible so it is still free for me. I schedule my infusion for mid January so my deductible for the year gets taken care of and anything else I need is covered by insurance. I didn't get the crap gap the first few years but now I get more fatigue leading up to it.

Glad to hear you will be getting your infusion and your husband will be allowed. Makes the time pass more quickly for sure.

I'm on Ocrevus and I've never heard of the "crap gap" please explain. It may shed some light on my occasional conditions.

it affects about 15% of people that are on ocrevus infusion.abou 4 to 6 weeks before your infusion you can feel problems ,mine is pain and weakness in my legs, after infusion you seem to feel better

also you can have it every 5 months but you have to have bloodwork to see if ocrevus is still active in your system, that is the only way they can get insurance to pay early
