I have actually suggested to HU Support that there needs to be way that people can Dislike or maybe Block an individual if they don't want to see their posts/comments (that way no one gets banned and people can personalize their viewing to suit their own preferences). But I was ignored.

Okay, we get it. Someone here in our virtual family is really not well adapted to the real world with all its differences and challenges, and is trying to impose her/his values on you, or me. Remember the tattle tale in 3rd grade, always running to the teacher with a story about someone else or to complain about what someone said? That person is grown now and among us. That's what this is.

If something doesn't interest you or offends you, don't read it. Move on. If you don't find something funny, move on. If you can't move on, and must speak out, find the backbone and courage to hit reply and explain to whoever offended your sensibilities .

Nothing is gained when we refuse to engage in honest dialogue. This is a complex and dangerous world. We do not need to be bashing one another. There, as Mammy Yokum used to say after settling someone's hash, I has spoken!

I was so glad that you, and your sense of humor, were back! We miss you, Brother Aaron. I agree with Goatgal, if someone in the family has a problem with something, talk with that person, like a caring human being, and then LET IT GO! Life is complicated enough for each of us, without trying to impose our will on others. There is too much hurt in the world already, and I am always ready for a laugh!
