Know many of us have seen the Alinker...have you seen or used the Van Raam City Walking bike?

I'm still at cane use, mostly outside the home in public areas. Also have osteoarthritis which is hard on the knees etc. Been looking at the Alinker since Selma Blair started endorsing. Though my weight is over weight limit for the Alinker. Walking with a cane is tiring & painful, don't get far. Was looking on Bike-on website about getting a roller for indoor use of my recumbent trike. Came across this little ditty of a walking bike. Can even add a reinforcement kit to accommodate my weight. Wondering if any users of the Van Raam City walking bike are out there & their thoughts of the mobility equipment. Doesn't look cumbersome as my all terrain rollator. Which is great in sand & woods. Though its a pain to load & unload from my vehicle or up & down steps of home for short walks. Also usually kept in trunk as it takes up a bit of space to bring indoors & store. This walking bike looks easy use & get in n out for use...

I just looked at the Alinker(SP?), I think a seat with back support might be good, but it does look like fun, better than my 3 wheel recumbents, No need to go down or climb up to get off

Have not used one but have seen a few in us. They people I asked said they worked great for knee problems. Said light weight to put in trunk. Drop seat and handle bars fits in back seat. Looks interesting 🤔 👍🙏 Ken 🐾🐾

That was my thoughts exactly! Easy to use, easy to store & carry back in home. Don't get me wrong about my Veloped rollator, its great in hard to navigate terrain such as at the beach. Though a pain to get in & out of the trunk for short walks to build up my stamina.

What's a Veloped rollator? Could you please send a picture? I have a lot of trouble in the sand.

It won't let me add a pic...Trionic Veloped is what you want to look up. Its good in all terrain, though you will need some upper body strength to get through the sand...

It looks like requires more balance? The alinker is $$$ is this? I don’t know of anyone who owns either...very curious about both 🤷‍♀️

Yes, though I'm good with a cane, guessing I should be ok with the two wheel walking bike. Thinking more for good for going longer distance then I can accomplish with a cane.
