Who me? You ask? Sweet innocent me? ππ€£ Of course!
It all started with my brother telling me about a game called pickle ball... Anyone hear of it?? Me either.. but I guess it's a big deal in Anchorage. So he is now called Pickle Boy! ππ€£ And I sent him the law in connecticut, that pickles have to bounce! Good thing he doesn't live there! He don't bonce!ππ€£
Anyway, he rolled his eyes at me.... π Seriously? π Ok.... My response... Hey pickle boy, I'm getting my hair cut and it's long enough for locks of love... Want me have them send it to you? βΊοΈ
He sent me a picture flipping me off!!! π€£ππ€£ππ€£ I sent it to our mom! Who didn't see it was me that sent it... And called my brother!ππ€£ππ€£π She was madder than a hornet! π€£ππ€£
Sometimes, life is just fun!
π€ππ
PS she was laughing by the end of it all! π

A friend that was from Michigan used to play Pickle Ball (when she lived in Michigan). I never really understood how it was played. We sure hadnβt heard of it in East Tennessee!
I had never heard of it, either, but I have a friend who lives in Florida and plays it all the time. If I remember correctly, she described it like tennis but the ball being more like a ping pong ball.
Our local parks n rec has a pickle ball class and hosts tourneys. I've never been coordinated enough for any activity involving a ball, or competitive enough for any sport, but many older folks like it.
Our senior center has pickle ball. It has been growing in popularity.
Also, locks of love charge people for their wigs. Try Wigs for Kids. It's for kids with cancer and they don't charge. My Asian daughter grows hers out and donates it.
