Just want to thank you for the tremendous love in that most difficult time. I got my dogs, Harley and Maddie, to their beautiful new home. It is perfect for them, with a huge fenced in yard. The lady is retired, home all day, the home is just gorgeous , but they are allowed on ALL the furniture. She is so loving with them. Her grown children and their families are all within 2 miles of her. We have spent hours talking on the phone and more time today of course.
I will not be visiting them, it would be hard on all of us. They will be lived and cared for so well, and I am fine. I just cannot walk enough anymore to get them outside. I feel grateful they will be so loved! I meant to say they will be loved and cared for in previous sentence, sorry, cannot fix it. Love to all, Kelly xx

The dogs and their new โMamaโ are all adjusting wonderfully. They just love having a giant yard to romp in. She just adores them, as do her children and many grandchildren! The kids have wrestled with them and they wore each other out, she said! I miss their warm, furry bodies at night, but will not cry. They are getting the best care possible and much love!
Your love and resolve are tremendous. Thank you for letting us know about their new home and all the love they will receive. I know it was terribly hard, but you did a beautiful thing for them and for their new owners.
wow that took a lot of courage to do that but like you said they have the best of both worlds now ...can run all day if want to and have a great loving person that truly loves dogs to let them up on the furniture not to many too....they will be her children now ...you did a great lady a great bunch of love for her to have them to spoil just like you did...just like real children go on to there own lives in there future...love lots of it ...take care and find another passion into something that will bring happiness in your life ...great going ....
Thank you for your kind remarks. It has not been an easy thing to do. I cried buckets at the thought of it, but I simply knew the time had arrived. My legs just are not what they used to be! If I could have, I would have done anything, anything to keep them. But she is a one in a million person and situation, no one could have ever been better suited. I spoke to her this morning, and they are all adjusting quite well! Much love, Kelly xx
It is amazing you were able to find someone who would take both of them together so as doggie friends, they can stay together. I still feel for you as this must be one of the hardest things for you to go through. Going forward you have no little friends to keep you company. Can you keep a kitty who takes less to care for and will give you fuzzy love?
Yes, I have already made an appointment ( now necessary) at the Humane Society for a kitty. I love cats too, but they are not dogs(obviously)! But easier to care for, and every cat I have had ( many ) have all been snuggle bugs! ๐
I am so glad. Perhaps you can pick up the feeding and watering towers so you don't have to fill them all the time. That will cut back the time to take care of it as well. I am very happy you will not be without a fuzzy snuggler for long.
You did the right thing for you, your pups, and the lady that has them now. I'm so glad you found them a loving familly to love them like you do. Virtual hugs. Good luck on your kitty meeting.
Iโm so very glad that all worked out so well. I can imagine how hard it was to make the decision. Your actions show how much you truly love your pups.
