I'll spare you the pictures. Last night I set out a glue trap to catch a small rodent that was getting into the wild bird seed. I went to check the trap this morning and it wasn't where I left it. Looked around a bit and it was on the far corner of the deck but something was moving. I got closer and realized we got the little rodent and then it appears that a copperhead snake thought it was going to get a free meal... nope, his head was stuck to the trap along with a coil. So yes, Twofer Thursday plus a lesson on how to catch a copperhead safely!

Oh, my! I would have fainted!
well luck u
Yuck!!!!!
We have had a major invasion of mice in our corn shed. They were able to get in when the thieves destroyed the main door. So my hubby as used the glue sheets to catch the mice, the results were amazing. The corn shed is now mice free. I don’t believe in cruelty to anything but when your livelihood is being threatened, needs must. Good catch on your behalf, I have never seen a copperhead snake before. 🤭
Good job. No uninvited critters in the house is my rule. However i don't want to be the one to empty the trap.
Great job of taking care of it yourself. My first call would be to call Critter Getter. Snakes creep me out.
I caught 2 mice in my kitchen last week. They are really bad this year. Thankfully the copperheads stayed outside. Although a water moccasin tried to get in the back door a couples months ago. On a good note we a couple of deer in the front yard yesterday grazing on the grass.
