Yesterday was my telemedicine call, after neurosurgeon cancelled twice because of the virus....really? It’s telemedicine!

He said I need more time to heal! Still having a lot of numbness and difficulty walking. He said it takes time and patience....which I am not good at.

I did ask him about my first MRI, that showed lesions....which as what brought me to this great website, with wonderful people!

He said he is unsure and now wants me to go back to the neurologist....

WOW!

On the plus side, I was notified yesterday....my small air conditioner should be here Monday.

After being on back order from Japan....

Yes, again... the virus!

Yesterday was 91 outside and 91 inside.

Today is cooler, thank God!

Do you live in one of the hotter States?

in reply tojimeka

No Montana, could be way worse!

My brother-in-law is in Alabama...

Very humid there! Still hot!

How are you now after the surgery, is it getting better day by day?

in reply tojimeka

Well kinda... I am impatient!

Try not to be!

I had hip replacement surgery and healed up well, 2 1/2 months....

This is so different!

Surgeon told me yesterday, a year or more!

Be patient he said!

I had a trans thoracic discectomy done, 10 years ago. They said don’t worry you will be walking your dog in a week. I was in high dependency for 5 days, then hospital for another week. It was 6 months before I could walk my dog, now 10 years later he has to run at the side of my off road scooter. Situations change and even though we don’t like to admit it, we get older naturally. Have a good weekend, enjoy the AC when it arrives. 🤗

Okay, well you need to lie to me!

Darn it!

I need to work and make money!

I can’t live on nothing.

I'm so pleased to hear about the AC. That kind of heat at night makes sleeping almost impossible! And night after night of sleeplessness affects the quality of life. It's ironic though because for you folks in high country, temperatures will soon be dropping. The summer I worked in Yellowstone, we had a bit of snow in August.

in reply togoatgal

Yes, smile 😃

Yesterday was 73 degrees outside....so wonderful!

Fifties right now at 6am.....

I can live with that!

in reply togoatgal

I have always said I like the cold more...

I can always put more on

You can only take so many clothes off, before they call the cops 🚓!!

LOL

Hope you're getting some relief from the heat. My air conditioner stopped working about 2 weeks ago, but luckily the next day it was fixed. It was a warm evening. So now I bought a little portable cooling box off of Amazon for the next time that this happens. Or if we just have a power outage. I was out of power for days before after a storm. That way at least I can sleep comfortable with the cold air blowing on me and it should cool one room. You plug it in with a USB port and charge it up and its good for many hours. And can be recharged with a charging battery.

Yes, yes

Mine should be here Monday...FedEx!

Was on back order from Japan—damn virus
