Yesterday my friend came over to hang out for the day. She didn't call or anything, just showed up. Total surprise! When I asked her why, she just said.. You sounded like you needed me. And shrugged. She was so right!

Well, my mother of all people has been exposed to Covid. By her PT! Cause she never leaves the house! She is under quarantine. And has the test on Thursday.

What I don't understand is why they aren't putting my dad under quarantine also? Just for safety reasons? Makes no sense to me.

Anyway, I told my mother that she wasn't allowed to get it, cause she would mess up my shark week! 🤣🤣🤣🦈🦈

I hope YOU HAVE FRIENDS that you can call, write, text, and just talk to!

Really good friends who truly understand are jewels. I've been putting off a friend with whom I share a long arm quilting machine for about three weeks. I'd say, "Let's try for Monday," but when Monday (and every other day) rolled around, I wasn't up to it. This happened over and over. This morning, I really didn't feel up for working on a quilt, but decided that if I put her off even once more, I'd really regret it. Neither of us felt much like doing anything when we chatted on the phone, but agreed that it would do us both good just to sit and chat. We did that, but we also got a quilt loaded - no small feat today! She's one of the rare ones that really understand my issues and doesn't mind all my cancellations.

I'm so glad you have a friend who "hears" your heart.
