I am lost without my little Annie following me around. I am lonely. But the hubby says no more dogs. I can’t take care of them. ( I thought I was but he is the caregiver now and well, I’m not saying anymore). Just lost without her beside me. I loved my snuggling partner.

That is so sad to hear

I really think you should speak to him about having Annie back

It is good for you psychologically and emotionally to have a go with you – what is it is that he actually does for the dog that you can’t do and that he no longer wants to do?

So What, just because he is your carer, he gets to run the whole show?

What does he do that is so important – he certainly isn’t looking after you psychologically and if you and the dog are such a big daily burden – seriously tell him to do one

I am fuming on your behalf darling and send fortitude, strength and tenacity

And love ✨🌈💙🦋✨

We talked a little more today. I mentioned the security she gives me when he is gone, even for a few hours. I have had a few traumatic events, so I have PTSD. She wasn’t a “”good fit” for us as our daughter said. He didn’t like to see me strain my back to have to wash her in special shampoo every 10!days due to her severe allergies. She had a back leg out if joint that required picking her up to be on the couch with me. She would jump down to get water, then come back and whine to be picked up and if I didn’t do it immediately he would pick her up which he resented having to do. If I didn’t get up and feed her by noon, he felt obligated to do so (which I told him not too). He gets up at 6 am, took her off the bed, then outside, then picked her up again to put her back in bed with me (all unnecessary but felt like she needed it). So she was constant source of disagreements. She was a high maintenance dog with her severe allergies. Had to give her meds and fish oil tablets every day for dry skin and allergies. Owners said she was 6, but vet said she was 8. My last dog died at 11, so I was unhappy about that. In face all that he said it was best to give her back before I became more attached. BUT today I mentioned I guess I needed to learn to trust God more when I was here alone instead of trusting a dog to bark at strangers. He was shocked. Never knew I was the least nervous at being alone. SO, he said I could go to humane society and pick out a dog!!!! I have asked him to let me do that for 40 years and he always says “we don’t need a dog they just s lot of trouble” I never argued about it. Mandi, my lovable adorable Mandi was given to me by a co-worker 12 years ago right before I took disability and she was a Godsend, and I just brought her home from work one day! So, I am praying God will send me another puppy I can train to be obedient and stay out if his way and he will like her 🙏🏻🙏🏻😊😊❤️❤️

So the loss of high maintenance ole Annie has precipitated a frank family conference ; and you have all agreed that a spritely little cutie would be better for you?

Yeah!!I’m delighted for you chick - sounds much better than a needy mange ball...

so your husband was right, he was thinking of your best interests and has agreed to get you a new, better companion?

Marvellous- he sounds like a good egg after all ! Double yeah!

Made up with this good news

Hugs and loves ✨🎉♥️🌈🦋💙✨

Searched in virtual tours at all humane societies and adopt centers for about 4 hours alone. The kind that I wanted , found about 5, spritely small fur balls of snuggly love, cost over $300 to adopt! NOT in our budget! Never paid a dime for a dog. Each one was given to me under different circumstances. So I shall wait. (Searched within 300 mile radius,)! Just knowing it was ok to have my choice makes me happy. Gods will be done had always been my motto. A small poodle was given to me at age 19. Then 2 more when Jennifwr was 2 yrs old, then another when she was 14. Then Mandi about 16 yrs ago, then along came Annie 9 months ago Mandi was my very own first dog, though, and me at age 57. The others were Jennifer’s. (Daughters). Yea, frank and I eventually work things out or I tell myself God knows best. Someone else msg give me one, like I was given Annie. This time I will visit the dog first!! And not take site unseen or unwatched! Btw, I’m in KY if you hear about a homeless under 20 lbs long haired under 3 yrs old low keyed dog for free. 🤣🤣that is healthy. One dog at humane center was on $60 s month meds for rest of life!! No thanks. We live in SS income only! Thanks for listening. When I cry in pain, Mandi always licked my tears away 🍘😙😙😍🥰 if you happen to hear of a spritely lovable ball of fur under 15 lbs, under age 5, within 109 miles of Louisville KY , and is not sick or high maintenance or high anxiety or a tapper (not asking for much am I? Just another Mandi😄 miracle) within 109 miles if Louisville or Lexington Kentucky, let me know.”somewhere out there is a furry heart waiting to be joined together with me” but if I’m just dreaming, God knows best, and I will snuggle with hubby, and pray more for comfort from God and my Comforter when he is away. Thy will be do. The latest breed is a Skorkie: Shih Tzu and Yorker blend theyvarecsobadorabke. Cost about $3,000, but $350 even from humane society. Ridiculous. Never have paid a dime for a dig - not starting now. Well better go to bed and dream of furry friends.

Patience darling – gosh dogs are expensive in America, even a rescue!

I feel sure that the right talk will find its way to you, but in the meantime what is it about getting a very furry stuffed animal to huggle? I know it sounds ridiculous, but it’s a thang

I have a stuffed unicorn and furry Pegasus (Corny and Peggy) from my children that I cling onto when times are tough, and do you know they are a comfort

I would advertise yourself in the local store?

‘Low maintenance little doggy required for loving family...?’

The right mutt will find you, have faith chick

✨🌈🦄♥️✨

All these charities..sheesh

They need to think about actually helping with things like this

Yes, I have several. Guess I better dig them out. I even have a little white poodle. I will find it. Thanks. Course that’s not the same as a warm tongue licking my tears away. I’m still praying.
