My cousin was in the same boat. He gave up his independence and went to a nursing home. He couldn't handle it and killed himself.

Oh Mrs M (@mrsmike9buffering) I’m so sorry to hear that.

Was it the loss of independence in having to go into a carehome or ramping up of symptoms ; ( or both)that pushed him over the edge?

Quality of life is so important and when there’s non, its self euthanasia not suicide I reckon.

I was incredulous at the limitations different states impose on care; which seems really unfair.

And don’t get me started on the fcukedupness of the state of the UK...
