Yes!! Finally! It's over! And went off without a hitch!
The hospital is very secure and guarded, which I found a bit surprising, but happy to see. Everyone had a mask. And check in at front lobby, never had to do that before. But ok. ☺️
Off to infusion, I actually got my own room. So I didn't have to wear the mask the entire time. I just put it back on when the nurse came in to check on me.
The place was deserted, I saw 2 other people there. Compared to the 8 the last time. But pretty sure we were just scattered.☺️
Thank Goodness it's over for another 6mons!🤣😂
Thank you guys for ALL your support! 🤗💕

Thanks for sharing! I'm so glad folks seem to keeping folks separated and farther away (even if curtains are drawn to provide a barrier). Today, one can never be too safe!
I'm coping as well as can be expected during this "historic" time. I'm 26 years into my MS dx, and 23 years since starting on Avonex (which I still continue today).
Presently, I'm kinda glad I didn't take my new neuro's suggestion to maybe try Ocrevus. My theory is if stable "don't rock the boat"; if it ain't broke, why fix it?
You certainly were challenged by transportation issues, so it's lovely that the rest of the process went so smoothly. You are so good at managing crises, perhaps you should be appointed to a board which can reorganize the systems that fail you by creating barriers?
Umm, yea, No! That is all government bs! And nope, I want nothing to do with it.🤣😂🤣 I'm just so glad it's over and next time I go up I shouldn't have this problem. 🤗💕🌠
I am so happy that your infusion went well without too many more hoops, Jesmcd2
My last one went as well as it could despite the very small moving hoops that I had to jump through to make it happen. I forgot to post about that one. Perhaps I should. I still need to initiate a complaint with the Commissioner of Insurance in MA. Yes, it was that serious... Enough about me, relax and I am sending you a gentle vHug and a vSmile my friend.
Glad your infusion went well Jes! I am always more tired than usual the next day or so following an infusion. Used to happen to me on Tysabri too.
I think it’s because I’m so squeamish and sit rigidly still through the infusion or try to! I keep my arm covered so I don’t have to look at the needle! I’m a case, aren’t I? You’d think after years of infusions I would be used to it by now...NOPE!
Glad it went well. I had mine 3 weeks ago and didn't have any problems. The infusion center is at the hospital in its own wing and everyone is one big room. Most of the nurses had masks on but very few of the patients did.
