I have learned that you do not have to be related to be family,🤗🤗🤗
I have learned a lot from here
1 I have been able to go to my dr with questions I may not have had it it weren't for this group
2 The group has helped me make an informed and educated decision on weather to go on a certain medication- I told about their experiences with the drug both pros and cons
3 I have been able to learn about how others deal with their situation with MS and what their doctors have told them.
4 I learned about other medications and treatments
5 I've learned how people have altered their life styles to be better cope
6 i've had a good laugh
7 the power of positive people on forum
8 This group is group of gives
9 Is a supportive group in a time when it is asked for and needed
10 The group will hunt u down when you go missing from it (jimeka)
*** I have even given valuable info that I've had knowledge of
****I can write volumes on what I've learned from being here
I will stop there so others can add on
Well said! An exhaustive list. How in the world could I add anything? I'll just echo you.
Beautifully said! I would like to join and add various diet info.
But most importantly, it makes us research and look into issues before posting them.
Yes this!! I agree! Also rjoneslaw I recall you were the first to reach out and respond to my many questions when I first joined and was first diagnosed and it really helped me and much appreciated. I was not doing well at the time and was feeling very anxious and depressed and it provided me with some hope and encouragement
The obvious things are well...obvious. I guess the overwhelming thing I’ve seen, felt & heard from you as a group is God’s abounding love & grace. I thank Him every single day for offering me a shoulder to lean on in my times of need. To me this group is a part of God’s plan for me. Thank you all for your support no matter what.
I learned that Lhermitte's sign was the name of that feeling that caused me to go to a doctor.
I finally had a name I could curse.
It's also interesting to learn how different people handle MS and the stressors that come with it.
I have learned that I am not alone in this journey with 'ms', Jesmcd2
Great people here and lots of information and love from the MS family 👍🙏😉🤗🤗 Ken 🐾🐾
Permanent makeup is awesome Cooling vests
I learned that I am not alone 🤗
I've learned to value the camraderie of people who know what living with MS is like. I love the sharing, the lifting up of each other, and all of the pets.
our resiliency, across the board, is inspirational
I’ve learned that I’m not alone, there are a lot of friendly people out there, and ways to manage some of my symptoms. Thank you!
The most valuable thing I've learned the site is acceptance. This site replaced my Therapist. Since being on the site I have learned so much about MS that I spend much of my time on here trying to spread the knowledge I have to spread help others with their issues.
We are not alone in our struggles. I can learn from other people's experiences with similar issues.
help in coping with all that this disease can affect us ...
I have learned and been reassured that...
1. You are never alone2. There are people that understand what you are going through
3. You can ask any question you need an answer to, even if you think it's a dumb one.
4. It's good to laugh even when you don't feel like it. Laughter really is the best medicine.
5. There's more to life than just having MS.
almost daily I learn some little fact in the conversations that go on. its just such a comfortable space to be in and I look forward to it
I agree with all stated above and I will add one. I am not afraid anymore should I end up in a wheelchair. People here have shown me that life goes on and it's not as scary as I thought. Prior to joining this group the only person I knew with MS uses a scooter. She cannot walk at all. It's nice to know there are many varieties of disability and people may continue down the entire path or not....and it doesn't devalue you.
