I used to think it was nuts to have all the different brands of toilet paper, the soft one, the squeezable one, the strong one and the one with 1000 sheets, and there used to be colors until they realized that it was bad for the environment, but hoarding quantities of the 24 double roll packs and cases of baby wipes is crazy! How many double rolls of toilet paper or packs of baby wipes is one going to use in a 14-day quarantine? If a family of 4 uses that much in a two-week period or even 4 weeks they are wasting it and clogging the sewer systems. Where do they think it all goes? Maybe they need to be educated in environmental abuse. From space our landfills are going to look like snowcapped mountains that got hit by a mud slide.
Remember to wash your hands, don't touch your face and stay out of crowds. And please be responsible when shopping for toilet paper, there is another hinny out there that needs cleaning besides yours.

i hoping that they are picking things up for their neighbors and friends not hoarding ...stay safe and not over doing it but helping others if they also are needing these things....
I still don't understand what the rush is on TP. If worse comes to worse there are ways to get by! But if everyone would think about how long it takes them to get through one of those packs they would realize a household of 2 probably uses a 6 pack per month!
Exactly. People are afraid they will get stuck in the house & not be able to go out. They forget the quarantine time is only 14 days per person. But people are buying enough to last for a year! It will level out soon. I went into Walmart this morning, of course shelves were empty, but there wasn't as many people today as there was last week. I usually keep a 2 week supply of food most of the time.
Like tbe article said we used to do that with diapers. I did & it really wasn't that bad. Use bleach in a pail of water with a lid on it & wash every couple of days with beach to sanitize. We didn't have gloves available then either. You did what you gotta do! It sounds kind of gross today because of all the modern conveniences.😁
