Why does everyone keep saying, “do not panic?” What dies it mean to panic? Anyone hyperventilating at home? But everyone is buying TP and sanitizer. Obviously what we should be saying is FOLLOW the rules which a lot of people are not doing or the numbers would NOT be going up. If the virus was not spreading, there would not be new cases each day, and a new death each day. Someone is not cleansing their hands. Someone is not covering their mouth. Someone infected us not staying home. Children spreading the virus are innocent, so that means teachers, caregivers, parents, workers are not following protocols because numbers are gradually going up, not down. Obviously no one is in a panic mode. A lot of people aren’t even concerned enough to follow good hygiene. If good hygiene was practiced nationwide we wouldn’t even have widespread flu. Stay clean, people, please.

All of the measures being blasted on the news~

me:”shouldn’t that ALREADY be being done?”

Are most people really that filthy and and/or clueless that they need to be reminded to WASH THEIR HANDS like toddlers? If so, we are doomed 😳

At this moment....they believe that most of the spread of this virus is through droplets from another person hitting the mouth or nose of another person. Less likely spread from hand contact with the virus. Hygiene isn’t the main factor. Hence, the huge push for social distancing.

I agree with you! I've been doing that for a long time & haven't gotten sick in over 3 years.

Your words to EVERYBODY’S ears! If we could get the media to drop their fear-mongering, it would help.

Do not panic, follow a common sense approach, and be as healthy as you can be. If you have any concerns, then by all means talk with your health care professional. :-D

To everyone on this forum:?i know it sounds disgusting, but don’t think everyone practices good hygiene! I happen to be an overly observant person. I cannot tell you how many times I have seen women go out of public bathroom stalls and go STRAIGHT out the door. NO hsndwashing! Recently feces germs was found on McDonalds inside auto screen ordering machines. People do NOT wash their hands!!!! Am I am not talking about homeless street people. The women I see are ordinary middle class looking people. 25 years ago when I was dx with fibromyalgia and CFIDS and asthma and chronic bronchitis and food allergies and 3 dormant viruses and Tcell problems and hypoglycemic, chronic pneumonia (and SHOULD have been diagnosed with MS at the time and started on DMT but in 2016 told I had it for 53 yrs), I started washing hands in public places, flushing public stools with my foot, opening doors with paper towels, using elbow a lot, etc, etc. I have never had the flu since. ( still get pneumonia avg every other year due to lots of scar tissue doc said and not enough rest). SO, uh, what was my point? ( memory problems) oh yeah - wash your hands, use that gel when going from store to store, from car to store, from store to car. It’s serious, folks. It’s only just begun.
