As I've been recuperating from my hip replacement, I've been revising my own bucket list to be more realistic. So how about you all. If you don't mind, post a few of your "Bucket List" wishes.
😁😁If you can't read the list, it's because I just snagged a picture off the internet. I couldn't read it either😁😁

Glad your recovery is going well, CalfeeChick! My husband and I want to visit Austria, where The Sound of Music was filmed. After last night, my grandson is a new fan...he’s a great little singer, too! We also want to chip away at touring America, just the two of us! I personally want to learn a few songs on the piano🎼🎹
That’s so cool that you were able to visit there, jimeka!! Every time we see the movie...we just want to jump inside the tv and have a picnic on those hills...forever, lol! 🤗💕
Ok ty...but you didn’t state why not to visit Neuschwanstein? Is it too crowded? That’s where Cinderella got her ideas to build her own castle at Disney, lol!
We had gone there before I was diagnosed with MS in summer. You can't drive up to the castle, you have to walk up the hill for a long time. I think you can take a bus for some distance, but gave to walk the rest of the way. It was raining. We finally made it! Security guards made sure we didn't stray from the path. There was absolutely nothing (typical castle) on the first floor. There were two more floors (stairs, no elevator). Now I understand I was fatigued, but then I thought my back was hurting. I wanted out, but the security guards would not let me out. When I said I couldn't go up the stairs, they asked me how I made it that far. Fortunately, my husband got involved at that point, so they let us out. And really, you've seen one castle - you've seen them all.
That’s very helpful...and it’s not for me either...disturbing they wouldn’t let you out...can’t imagine what would’ve happened if you were alone...scary...I never travel without my hubby nowadays either...thx for that bit of info IF.
I actually observed how in the Frankfurt airport, with a bunch of elevators in perfect working order locked up by the airport personnel, they made an older Japanese lady get out of her wheelchair and take the stairs down one floor.
I’m just getting to where I can transition from the walker to using a cane. I don’t feel real comfortable without something to hold onto and walk. Pain is mostly gone, I have Physical therapy twice a week. I had my first outing with a girlfriend for lunch and shopping. We were gone for about four hours and it kind of did me in I had to just rest for a while afterwards Hubby has been great shopping & cooking for us😊💕
Thank you, it has been over 18 months I’m feeling like I was dragging around the worst toothache I ever had. Almost no pain now just doing the healing and physical therapy.
