There is a camp not to far from me that is for children that have an illness of some kind be it a heart condition, diabetes or something that impacts their lives can go there for free. So I toured the camp back in May and they said that they needed washcloths so I have made over 300 for them. I love the pattern for the washcloths it is easier to do then it looks

Washcloths
You are incredibly industrious! I’m sure the washcloths have been much appreciated.
What a brilliant idea. How long does it take to do one? 🤗
Wow, Turtlepie What a wonderful thing to do. I would not use them as washcloths though for fear of destroying them, but I guess that's what they're supposed to be used for.
wow i bet the kids love them they are so pretty ...see the love just flows out of you for others....
Those are great! So nice of you to make them for the kids.

What a wonderfully generous thing to do for those children. So proud of you.
I’m sure they appreciate what you’re doing. They look nice
You are just marvelous! I love donating to causes like that, but mine are never homemade. Love, Kelly
What a special treasure these will be to the children!
Donating to such a worthy cause always warms our heart, but you took it another step & hand-made them with extra love. I don't have any talent for making anything, but I still try to help whenever I can.😌
Beautiful and amazing...service beyond. How did you findout about this so we may find out in our communities?Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. A lady I go to church with found this camp and she takes people there on tours when there are no campers. I don't know how she found this camp but back in May I went on the tour and at the end of the tour the lady mentioned some things that the camp needed and I heard washcloths and not white. So I realized that some one donated this cotton yarn to our prayer shawl ministry and we can't use it to make prayer shawls so I decided to make the washcloths. I felt that they would be nicer than the Walmart washcloths and might last longer. This lady at my church also does things for homeless veterans and our prayer shawl ministry is going to spend our summer off this year to make scarfs and hats for her to take to them. I know this might not help you find a charity but it might be a good place to start asking at your church. Many blessings to you. Let me know if you find a place
What a wonderful example..ty./..
