My preference is 4A or 2C. I like my marshmallow brown (not burnt) and a little puffy (gooey) so that when I put the marshmallow in the center with the chocolate between two graham crackers if helps seal my sandwich. Thus, perfect s’more but not too messy. However, no more the days at Girl Scout camp where I can toast marshmallow near a bonfire - only a small fire from a grill or pit on a cool night .…. I can’t wait for fall weather.

Thankfully, fall's just around the corner.
I'm not sure why I underlined all that.
😜
Because with the heat and humidity we've been having, I dream of snow drifts and shoveling the white stuff in the cold. It's important!
2c or 3b would be mine, don’t like burnt marshmallows. Like you enjoy them gooey. Use to put chocolate on graham crackers and set it on rock 🪨 next to fire 🔥 so it was soft, yum 😋 Have a couple s’mores and then couple marshmallows that you would get brown and pull off outer layer and then do same with rest till gone 🤤. Haven’t had one for a long time now. 😉🤗 Ken 🐾🐾🐾🐾
None of the above. I had my first s'more when I was in my 40's and was unimpressed. I enjoy them all, but separately, with marshmallows very brown and melted all the way through.
How do you protect yourself from the lava inside the crispy brown shell?
A friend once answered his door sporting a set of angry red vertical lines on his lips.
He told me it was from roasting a marshmallow over the stove with a fork.
He must not have read Tip#2 in the Marshmallow Safety Handbook.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like 1d or 2d
My grand kids love them, but I don’t like marshmallows
B4 or d2. I like them a little burnt.
To each their own. I guess I was terrified or traumatized when one of my campers almost set a fellow campers hair on fire trying to blow out her flaming marshmallow. I always had a fear of fire; holding candles, …. due to cooking accident. As counselor, I was able to overcome my fear when it came to safety or doing my duty as the head counselor to start the camp fire for the girls. But everyone could tell I was not comfortable. Flaming marshmallows. I guess I want to just toast them. That’s all. I didn’t think burnt toast taste good. So I never gave them a honest taste test. Just the look and the risk. No way.
I prefer my hubs make my smores and I take them anyway that he makes them!
Yum!!!
