Day 1 of mavenclad

Took my first pills at 10am. About an hour after I got a bad taste in my mouth like after getting iv steroids. Nothing seemed to help get rid of the taste however it's 4pm now and it's not as bad but still got it. I feel good and I hope that that is all I have to deal with. The nurse that called me today said that she was unaware of anyone have that problem and they could not find anything about in their files. The support for this medication is wonderful. I was told I need to be careful about being exposed to anything for the next 3 months because I will not be able to fight it off as well. That all for today. Talk to you all tomorrow

try a piece of hard candy. I was told when I 1st had an iv infusion of steroids to have piece and it would help with the taste it worked

I tried and it didn't help. And it always helped with that but not so good with this thank you so much for your advice

I was on Copaxone for over 16 years then tecfidera, gilenya and rebif. I stopped Copaxone because I was getting side effects that I never had before that flushing that they talk about was getting real bad. And the side effects of the others were really bad also. I hope that you can find the right medicine for you good luck and God's blessings. I hope this will be a good medicine for me and any one else that decides to take it. I was diagnosed in 1993 with possible MS got my definet diagnosis in 2002. When I was first diagnosed there wasn't any medication for MS. Then betasiron had a lottery to get it in 1994 I think I did that for a while but had to stop it and no other meds till 2002.

Been on copaxone almost 2

years. Im already shot fatigued and have dents in skin. Not sure how much longer I can

Go. Only had one flushing side effect.

Not sure what I’ll do next talking Aubagio.

I am in the process of switching from Copaxone to aubagio right now. I’ve not heard of mavenclad. Im glad to hear of another choice although I’m hoping aubagio will be my saving grace. I’m interested to see how mavenclad works for you turtlepie! Good luck and prayers to you!

I hate the steroid taste! I lived on peppermint candies for months after I had a 5 day infusion to kick me out of remission. Blah!
