If you are stressing over the holidays, here is a tip from a psychologist that may help.
When you start to feel stressed, just stop, sit down and close your eyes. Breath in while counting g to 4, exhale the same way. Slow deep breaths and concentrate on your senses. What do you smell? What do you hear. What do you feel? Open your eyes and what do you see?
It helps if you have a nice smelling candle, can see your tree and have a soft throw to feel. Lastly, remember the real reason for this season. Love, friendship, and joy. Jesus is the reason for this season.
