Hi-here’s a pic I took of a Red Throated Hummingbird. I have a liquid bird feeder that hangs in the backyard and is close to my bedroom window. Any time of day, I can see them when I lie down. This little guy comes around when I need it the most. His beauty and uplifting, dancing spirit remind me that there is always HOPE.
As you understand, most days with MS are tough. I am having a tough day today with intense nerve pain all over and more stiffness, especially in my legs. I have these symptoms everyday, but not so bad. Some days just hit me like a boulder and all I can do is rest more. I remind myself that tomorrow is a new day and I will have less pain and feel better. This helps a lot and usually the next day I feel better.
Hope you see a little hummingbird sometime in your backyard.
Take care, Nikki

Beautiful shot and beautiful bird. Thank you for this, I too have stiffness in my legs and it’s so annoying. I have to wait for my pills to click in before I can do anything. I find moving around as much as I am able helps. I get very frustrated. What took me 5 minutes now takes a hour, then I have to sit down and rest. We don’t have hummingbirds, but the British Robin gives me lots of joy. Blessings Jimeka 🤗
i swear all of the animals know when they are needed by someone for they show up when you least expect them but so glad they did...that is how my little dog is he knows when i am not feeling good for he wants up on my lap and no other time will he get up on my lap....just not a lover we know he loves us for when we have been gone and come home he gets so excited to see us ...we don't leave him alone but when one of us goes to town or just outside longer than he thinks we should ...he is so special especially since he was a rescue ...we are so lucky ....
I’m so glad you took and then shared this fabulous photo! I so enjoy hummingbirds. They are so tiny, energetic, and beautiful. I just stare in awe whenever I see one. A few years ago, I was watering some trees with a hose. I had the spray adjusted to spread a bit, and suddenly a tiny hummingbird flew into the stream, seeming to float without effort, enjoying his shower. He would dart away for a moment, but then come right back and stay in the streams for long stretches. I ended up over-watering the tress a bit just so I could watch that little bird. What a peaceful, but joyous sight!
I hope you are feeling better today.
Thank you for posting, even though you weren’t feeling so great.
