Did you ever wonder why geese fly in a "V" formation? Two engineers wondered the same thing and discovered that each bird, when it flaps it's wings, creates uplift for the bird behind it.Together they can fly 70% farther than flying alone. We are much like the geese and keep each other uplifted with kind words, caring and prayers.Uplifted by others is easier than traveling alone.thank you for comfort and strength, and kind words.:)

You as well you must include yourself in this

Yes I did know that and I have no clue why. All birds do that.

I have to admit I know facts about random things my sister tells I’m strange and I shouldn’t know those random facts

And when the leader tires, one of the others moves up, allowing the leader to be supported by those ahead and stronger. Your analogy is perfect for this group. Thank you!

Glad I read replies before posting, don't want to be a copycat (although I do like cats...just don't wanna be one!) So true of this family, when one of us gets tired or down there's a whole flock to lift up and let another flow on our strength.

Okay being a no it all ex pilot yes I did know t5his. There actually is some really neat aerodynamics in this, just saying. Maybe that is why I suggest taking my hand and traveling together for awhile. Best thing for a newbie, things I wish somebody had offered me way back when.

I knew that about geese. I think it's amazing that they didn't need a computer or any other machine to figure it out. I too am very appreciative of this group. There are times when I am feeling out of sorts and read these threads and start laughing. It really brings up my spirits. Thank you for being here
