Interesting article about an imaging discovery that could lead to better and earlier treatment of the progressive forms of MS. The study was posted in Jama Neurology .

The article mentions 7T mri. My local hospital just announced they are getting a 7t machine (once it's built). It is supposed to be up and running in about 1.5 yrs. The news article about it said it would be 1 out of 6 such machines available for clinical use in the US. (I don't know if they mean brand or 7t quality). Either way, I'm excited to have the discussion with my neuro about its applications for MS evaluation.
