Went to the doctor today and learned that my MS is affecting my lungs now. They are treating me for asthma until I see the lung specialist this Friday. Of course, I got to make everyone laugh. I told them that my inhaler looked like a deformed egg. When I used it I said look I'm sucking on a deformed egg. My kids couldn't help but laugh.

Asthma
My MS affects the nerves around my lungs also and causes breathing problems as well. I've been to several pulmonologist and cardiologist with the all clear. All they could say is I was my MS. It took me a few years to figure out that MS affects the nerves around your lungs and causes breathing issues similar to asthma. I've not had asthma before now.
Thanks for the info. It’s nice to know the unreported affects of ms.
Good humor as well.
Next time someone tells u to go suck an egg u can already did😂😁
Good attitude about things ~ laughter is the best medicine
Thank you. I have breathing issues in the humidity and I never thought it was MS.
mbrooks20 I am pretty sure it’s affecting my lungs too but that’s another appt I have been putting off. When it gets bad I use the inhaler I had from bronchitis. The steroids in it help. I always make sure I have refills just in case. -Kris

The doctors base there DX on my job we dealt with asbestos on a daily basic. In defense of the lung doctor there has been around 20 men that have died from cancer that I worked with. So we never know
