I finished it!

I finally finished this quilt. It's for my grandson & his wife. It's called "Chain of Hearts." The back is done with "camo" cuz his wife loves it. She is country to the bone! I designed it 2 years ago for their wedding present. Now they are getting it for their 2nd anniversary. Originally I thought I had 6 months to finish it then they moved up the wedding by 3 months & there was no way I was getting it done on time, so I took my time & then life happened. I think it was cursed from the start because I had problems from the time I started cutting it out until it was finished. Glad it's done & really don't ever want to see it again!

Beautiful! So much love goes into making a quilt. It has to be love, because only someone with a lot of love inside would have the patience to spend that amount of time. Congratulations on completing a work of art.

So beautiful, hairbrain4 You did a wonderful job! I know that feeling when you have such a tough time finishing a project that all you want to do is to never see the thing again! When I get that feeling, it usually goes away rather quickly, and then I am off to another project! I just love sewing/quilting and I hope that your love of sewing/quilting is still there! Please post your future sewing/quilting projects in this forum because I cannot wait to see them! :-D

Great job! So happy you were finally able to finish it and in time for their 2nd anniversary! I know EXACTLY how you feel to be done with something and happy that you will not have to see/work on it again.
